Reporting to the General Manager and as part of the leadership team, this role is responsible for:

  • Providing strategic direction for P&C to ensure the company has the right people with the right skills and capabilities to deliver its commercial and cultural objective
  • Partnering with senior managers to raise the organisational capability and performance
  • Support senior management with change management
  • Providing guidance and advice to managers on policy and procedures, balancing commercial needs with best practice
  • Measuring performance at all levels, including job descriptions, annual performance plans and regular performance reviews
  • Ensure employment processes and practice are in compliance with the law and other regulatory requirements
  • Oversee Workplace Health and Safety
  • Managing a succession, talent & recruitment plan for key and critical positions
  • Develop and provide reporting and recommendations on P&C initiatives
  • Have a tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
  • Have experience within Human Resource Management
  • Have professional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have experience in leading and managing a People & Culture function and team
  • Demonstrate experience in managing and supporting a business in all facets of the employee lifecycle.
  • Have strong analytical ability along with an innovative and creative thinking style
  • Be outcomefocussed and detail oriented with excellent organisational, prioritisation and multitasking skills
