To support the City of Perth's ambitious transformation plan, we are seeking a Business Process Improvement Officer to assist in developing and mapping organisational processes for corporate process mapping to support corporate change with a focus on opportunities for improvement and efficiency.

Reporting to the Planning and Project Management Office Lead, this position will support the City by:

  • Collaborating with process owners to assist in the development of documented processes and related work instructions within the City's processing mapping software (Promapp).
  • Supporting the development and delivery of training programs to enhance employees understanding of corporate processes and process mapping.
  • Undertaking research and preparing reports for Council and the Executive Leadership Team as required.
  • Maintaining the database of work instructions/procedures across the organisation, ensuring compliance with relevant Council and Corporate policies.


To be successful in this role you will be able to engage with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to achieve public sector best practice.
