DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
About the role**The Orders Administrator is responsible for managing the day to day processing of purchase orders, making sure they are processed accurately as well as in a timely manner. Ensuring the inbox is well managed and queries from internal as well as external stake holders are responded to on time.

The role reports to Team Leader Orders Management.

As the Orders Administrator, you will:

  • Liaise with suppliers to place orders and assist with procurement-related queries.
  • Liaise with customers to receive and process orders against quotes.
  • Manage all changes/queries as well as returns for the orders processed.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of reports and lists for internal and supplier use.
  • Assist the Sales, Engineering, Finance and Managerial teams with orderrelated queries.
  • Maintain accurate data in the CRM/ERP system for the benefit of the daytoday running of The Company.
  • To do action plans and results reporting to team lead & management to stay on top of team goals and objectives.
  • As needed, be the digital sales ambassador of company & deliver a worldclass customer engagement experience (DistributionasaService) to companys vendors, business partners, & customers.
  • Be aware of and uphold the ethical standards of the Company.
  • Be aware of and follow Company procedures and rules, and those communicated by your line manager.
  • Assist in additional duties related to the above responsibilities, as required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE |
About you**
The ideal Orders Administrator:
  • At least 1-2 Years of experience in sales operations/orders administration with a proven track record of success would be highly desirable
  • A selfstarter with a track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent oral, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly motivated person with a great sense of urgency.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both internal & external clients
  • To work well under pressure within a team environment and the ability to be able to prioritise with good time management
  • The ability to know when to progress issues up the chain of management to ensure a satisfactory and timely conclusion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and have an excellent analytical and numerical skills with a good eye for detail.
  • Tertiary level qualifications would be highly regarded
