As the Administration Officer (Consumer Liaison) you will support the Patient Safety and Quality team by providing general administrative functions and provide a courteous telephone and email response service for consumers and staff.

This role will respond to enquiries, complete timely and accurate data entry, and provide efficient and effective administration support to the Consumer Liaison team. This role will also provide administration support to the wider Patient Safety and Quality team where required.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and sensitively with all levels of staff, consumers and the public.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and be flexible in a changing work environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office programs to an intermediate level and knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of internal information systems eg. RiskMan.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and exercise judgement within the scope of the role to solve problems where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
  • Ability to work autonomously, and cooperatively and effectively as part of a team.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • This position may be required to work across the various facilities throughout the West Moreton Health Service.
  • A Queensland Corrective Services check will be undertaken on persons recommended for employment.
