Credit Officer

The role will include:

  • Manage customer accounts and debt recovery process efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and provide monthly collections commentary.
  • Identify and report financial risks and assist with internal and external accounts receivable invoices.
  • Process fortnightly subscription billing, complete daily file uploads, assist with monthly statement preparation and conduct audits when necessary.
  • Respond to queries and follow up on invoicing enquiries.
  • Process fee waivers and credit adjustments.
  • Account Reconciliations, negotiate payment plans, and differentiate liability of multiple parties within one account.
  • Make recommendations for bad debt writeoffs and assist the Trade Credit Officer when required.

What will you bring

  • Minimum 3 years of credit experience ideal.
  • Possess a diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in credit management/debt recovery within a customerfocused collections role.
  • Demonstrate excellent administration skills with a great attention to detail.
  • Ability to contribute to team efficiency and business outcomes, whilst meeting set objectives within designated timelines.
