About the position
The position will support a team of case managers working within the Semi-Independent living program.

Position Objective


This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous OOHC experience and has worked closely with young people in the independent living sector.


The role aims to assist with planning and implementing strategies to support case managers and the young people in the independent living program.

Overview of the role:

  • Present and deliver information sessions.
  • Ensure training plans are in place and ongoing learning and development for case managers
  • Ensure that the case managers relevant paperwork and administrative work is up to standard for reporting.
  • Compliance and risk mitigation as well as program development.

Essential Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary degree in social work, welfare, psychology or related disciplines and/or experience.
  • Experience working within an Out of Home Care program.
  • Two years' experience providing leadership within a team environment.
  • Training and Assessment skills including the presentation/facilitation of training/information sessions and conducting pre accreditation assessments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing demands and respond/support those in crises.
  • Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
  • Current NSW's drivers license and own vehicle.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience with working with children and families in OOHC.
