The Royal Women's Hospital is Australia's first and largest specialist hospital dedicated to improving the health and wellbeing of newborns and women of all ages.

The People Culture & Wellbeing (PCW) team is responsible for providing strategic and operational services to support the employment and workforce needs of the Women's.

We partner with our colleagues to achieve our goals through the effective management of people.

Your contribution


As Workforce Data and Reporting Officer you will coordinate and contribute to the providing of workforce data and reporting at the Women's.

You will work with our stakeholders to ensure that the workforce data we collect, use and report on is complete, consistent, valid, accurate and timely.

You will also be responsible for the systems administration of our employee and manager self-service system.

Your duties will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Assist in data collection for workforce reporting, including Board reporting and workforce planning reports
  • Act as system administrator for our employee and manager selfservice system, Staff Kiosk, including setting up new accounts, triaging user queries and contributing to the development and implementation of upgrades
  • Oversee interfaces with other workforce systems including our recruitment system (eRecruit), and our learning management system (WISE)
  • Monitor and review the collection and quality of workforce data, and review processes related to collection, management and maintenance of workforce data
  • Assist with HR projects through the provision of workforce information and reports

To be successful within this role you will need to have:

  • Very high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, and a friendly, customer service approach
  • Experience with HR administration, including a high level of administration and organisational skills

Influenza Vaccination RequirementIn line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care. Evidence of vaccination is required.

As this role fits into Category C of the Department's risk ratings, applicants are strongly encouraged (although not required) to be vaccinated against influenza.
