The
Women's & Children's Health Network provides state of the art health care for women, babies, children and young people across South Australia.

We are the state's leading provider of specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions as well as being SA's largest maternity and obstetric service.


Our community-based services also reach hundreds of thousands of babies, children and young people, their families and communities across South Australia through our various services and programs in areas such as our Mental Health, Child & Family Health services, Youth Health and Aboriginal Health services.

The Women's and Children's Health Network (WCHN) has strengthened its response to domestic and family violence with the launch of

Cedar Health Service:
Inclusive Domestic and Family Violence Healthcare, which is part of HaRTSS.


Cedar Health Service offers multi-disciplinary care, providing a pathway for consumers to get the healthcare they need, which might otherwise be difficult to access.

Cedar Health Service offers counselling with social workers, health checks with doctors and nurses, as well as culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and refugee/migrant communities.


The Opportunity


We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Cedar Health team as an
Administrative Officer in a
part time (30 hours per week) long term contract (until 21st June 2024).


As the Administrative Officer, you will provide a responsive reception and administrative service, to support the work of the Clinical Team Leader and site staff.

You will undertake the processing and maintenance of site data and associated records, CHS client management systems, financial, HR and purchasing administration functions.


You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides a wide range of clinical services and is responsible for delivering a high-quality customer service to women and men who have experienced trauma, abuse and domestic family violence in a professional, responsive and timely manner to achieve optimal client focused outcomes.

This will require a flexible autonomous approach to work using initiative and the ability to prioritise competing workload demands.

About You


To be successful in this role, you will use your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, staff and external agencies.

You will also need to be able to manage timeframes effectively and prioritise competing workload demands.


If you have experience in the provision of a reception and administration service, where you have dealt with highly confidential and sensitive information, and the provision of a high-quality customer service, then this role is for you.
