Reporting to the Manager: Health and Clinical Education the Project Officer: Clinical Education is responsible for providing high quality administrative, research and project support to the Dean: Clinical Education and Equity.

The UniSA Allied Health and Human Performance Academic Unit offers a wide range of degrees and conducts research in the fields of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, medical radiation sciences, medical sonography, speech pathology, clinical exercise physiology, exercise and nutrition, health sciences, public health, exercise and sport science, and human movement.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and demonstrated experience working in an administrative position or demonstrated equivalent skills and experience working in an administrative position
  • Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills including the ability to produce high quality (clear and concise) documentation, plans and reports, with a clearly defined purpose, to a range of audiences
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills together with resourcefulness and initiative to manage multiple priorities and projects within tight timelines under broad direction
  • Highly developed research, analytical and information literacy skills to locate, evaluate and compile data and reports, with the insight to devote the appropriate amount of time proportionate to the complexity of the issue/project
  • Experience working in an administrative or project support role in a complex organisation involving the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, and the provision of advice and recommendations to senior staff
