About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a Clinical Lead to join our team at headspace, a leading youth mental health organisation in Australia. As a key leadership position, you will work alongside the National Program Manager and Team Lead to support and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of workshops within the Mental Health Education Program.

The program focuses on building mental health literacy and capacity among headspace centres, local services, and wider school communities to implement evidence-based mental health promotion and early intervention. You will provide clinical leadership, consultation, and expertise in the delivery of evidence-informed service delivery and implementation of the program or projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to support the design, development, and implementation of workshops within the Mental Health Education Program.
  • Work with the National Program Manager and Team Lead to develop and implement evidence-informed service delivery and program or project implementation.
  • Collaborate with headspace centres, local services, and wider school communities to build mental health literacy and capacity.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support to team members.

Requirements:

  • Advanced clinical skills within mental health.
  • Considerable demonstrated senior clinical experience, including the provision of clinical supervision.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and advanced clinical competency.
  • Ability to engage, liaise, and negotiate with a broad range of health professionals and organisations.
  • Intra-state and interstate travel.
