We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Lighthouse Recruitment. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a critical role in increasing the capability of employees within our facility, working alongside the PLC Learning team and facility Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify training needs of employees within your facility and design and develop learning solutions to increase individual, leadership, and organizational capability.
- Facilitate clinical and non-clinical workshops, assessments, and learning solutions for the organization, with responsibility specifically for the employees within your dedicated facility.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, including induction and compliance training for new, returning from extended leave, and promoted employees.
- Ensure completion of regulatory training, maintaining full compliance within set facility.
- Maintain a library of development resources, ensuring new-aged care industry needs are catered for, and providing access to relevant materials to employees within your facility.
- Provide coaching to enhance employee skills and confidence in completing their roles.
- Maintain the LMS system with attendance, compliance, and feedback, providing regular reporting to the Learning Manager.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse Div 1 (registered with AHPRA) with a current practice certificate.
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent Diploma.
- University degree in business, HR, Psychology, social sciences, or related field or comparable advanced education and relevant experience.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in learning & development or nurse educator role.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse working in an aged care environment.
- Workplace experience as a facilitator and workplace coach or mentor.
- Workplace experience in instructional design.
- Strong communication skills.
- Courageous in applying new solutions to problems.
- Communication with kindness and understanding.
- Delivers of outcomes and expectations.
- Provides an inclusive learning environment.
- Project management skills.
- Trusted advisor and mentor.
What We Offer:
- Permanent full-time role.
- Remuneration $95k -- $100k base salary + NFP salary packaging + Super.
- Additional weeks' leave (6 days).
