We are currently recruiting for a Talent Specialist to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney (hybrid).


As a skilled and proactive Talent Specialist you will join our dynamic team and lead all things talent related for our Australian operation.

This is a newly created position ready for you to make your mark and influence our talent strategy.

This role isn't transactional recruitment, it's an opportunity to build our talent pipelines, work closely with internal teams to create campaigns, target talent via social media, conferences and industry events.


We have a number of exciting projects we'd love you to lead or contribute to including partnering with universities to build out an intern program.

We are looking for somebody who is creative, loves networking and building a strong individual and company profile.

This role will join part of our local People & Culture team and will contribute to global initiatives via our broader HR colleagues across 15 different countries.


Your key responsibilities as a Talent Specialist will be to:

  • Develop, enhance and execute talent acquisition strategies across the Australian operation.
  • Utilise diverse sourcing methods to identify and engage with future talent.
  • End to end recruitment including sourcing, screening, coordination of assessments, and interviews.
  • Conduct reference checks, and other preemployment verification requests as required.
  • Work on collective projects to strengthen and broaden our employee value proposition and employer brand.
  • Champion new initiatives and execute on team and personal goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practice in talent acquisition.

To join us as a Talent Specialist you will need the following experience and skills:

  • You must have solid recruitment or talent acquisition experience, preferably from an agency environment
  • You must have extensive experience working with LinkedIn Recruiter and other CV databases, with knowledge of sourcing strategies
  • You must have strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • You must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple vacancies and priorities
  • You must have excellent MS Office skills
  • You will have a passion for and ability to understand the importance of diversity, culture and differences in the workforce
  • You will have the ability to work independently and take ownership of own workload
  • You will be a team player who can communicate and work effectively with all stakeholders at all levels
  • You must have excellent presentation skills with the ability to influence and steer conversations You will ideally have experience within the finance industry
