The Role

We are in search of an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our diverse, dynamic, and forward-thinking team in 2024.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, part of the People & Culture team, will be responsible for delivering top-notch recruitment services across the School. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with People & Culture Partners and Campus Hiring Managers to align with Caulfield Grammar School's Vision and Purpose.

The role involves managing the entire recruitment life cycle while ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers. Within the P&C team, the role may also offer support for various P&C projects and initiatives as needed.

Key Duties

  • Work with Hiring Managers to carry out end-to-end recruitment assignments following Recruitment Policy and Procedures
  • Develop and execute innovative and effective recruitment strategies and campaigns through diverse channels and platforms to attract and engage high-quality talent
  • Ensure efficient attraction, recruitment, and selection strategies to effectively support objectives and attract talent in a competitive market
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates
  • Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and providers when necessary
  • Contribute to P&C initiatives by offering creative and innovative solutions to problem-solving
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement to continuously improve the talent acquisition function
  • Assist in efficient Onboarding processes and induction when required
  • Exemplify the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviors

Skills and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field
  • Prior experience in end-to-end recruitment, staffing strategies, and offer negotiation
  • Experience supporting various generalist People & Culture functions by providing expertise, coaching, and advice
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including effective written and verbal communication
  • Experience using Recruitment and HRIS systems
  • Current or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check
