Are you a skilled cleaning professional with excellent communication abilities? Are you dedicated to delivering top-notch quality with a keen eye for detail? We are in need of a supervisor to lead our domestic cleaning and catering staff, ensuring exceptional service standards are upheld across various site departments.
As our 'in-field' supervisor, you will oversee room cleanliness audits, food standard evaluations, and reporting responsibilities. Additionally, you will handle guest interactions, serving as a primary point of contact for inquiries and escalating issues to management when necessary.
This role presents a fantastic chance to expand your expertise in remote site operations, leveraging your extensive background in the cleaning/hospitality sector and proven leadership skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing staff schedules, room cleaning, and maintenance timetables
- Providing training for employees in domestic cleaning and food services
- Implementing hazard identification, risk assessments, and safe work procedures
- Conducting audits of our housekeeping division to ensure adherence to room cleaning standards
- Assisting with accommodation bookings and general office tasks
Who are we seeking?
We are looking for an individual who prioritizes safety, possesses a problem-solving mindset, strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in accommodation management software, and solid technological skills.
You will serve as the backbone of our remote sites team, playing a vital role in daily operations and service delivery for our customers, aiming to provide a homely experience away from home.
You must be a team player, willing to engage in various tasks including retail, housekeeping, site cleaning, and other duties as needed.
This is a FIFO 10/4 position from Townsville or Rockhampton, with potential consideration for alternative roster patterns for suitable candidates. Quality Assurance Officers are expected to work 10 hours per day.
