About the Role:

3M are currently recruiting a skilled Logistics Coordinator. Must have - 2 years' experience within a Logistics coordinator or Administrator role.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the transport officer with all ANZ 3M shipping & receiving locations
  • Coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders and cross functional teams to ensure operations run smoothly
  • Validating and approving all freight related invoices for AP, with support from 3rd party suppliers
  • Executing system transactions to complete receipt of inbound import shipments
  • Assisting in import container scheduling activity, taking into consideration the container complexity and other important factors
  • Creating workflow charts to help the transport team
  • Creating and running Excel reports for adhoc and monthly reporting
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, listening and writing)
  • 1 2 years' experience in similar role
  • Ability to take ownership and make informed decisions
  • Sound investigative skills, with great attention to detail
  • Systems: must be proficient in Excel & Sales Force is a bonus
  • Good time management skills, organized and reliable, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to work process changes
  • Ability to comply with relevant 3M policies and regulations
This is a 12 month contract position with a possibility for extension.
