About the role:

Aurizon is seeking a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role has opened due to an internal movement within our facilities team. The Facilities Coordinator will play a critical role in coordinating the successful delivery of facilities and workplace services across our sites. The focus will be on optimising operational efficiency, reducing costs through effective use of internal and external resources, and achieving our health, safety, and environmental performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve operational goals and targets related to facilities management for health, safety, and environmental performance.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with site management and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with enterprise policies and statutory obligations.
  • Manage maintenance contracts and staff to ensure facilities and workplace service delivery meets site operational requirements.
  • Assist in preparing annual facilities and workplace budgets and securing agreements from customers.
  • Monitor and report monthly on financial performance to meet budget targets.

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in corporate and/or industrial real estate facilities management.
  • Understanding and experience with technical corporate facilities planning and infrastructure.
  • Trade qualifications in facilities or a related discipline (Preferred).
  • High level of skills in stakeholder management, consulting, negotiation, and customer service.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage change.
  • Proficiency in managing contractors within workplace and maintenance environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of asset management to ensure efficient and safe operation of assets.
  • Strong team building and engagement skills, with the ability to inspire commitment and achieve results.
  • Capability to manage service delivery across a large, distributed infrastructure portfolio..
