The School is seeking to appoint a casual Music Instrumental Specialist with expertise in the Violin, commencing Term 4, 2023.


What's involved...

  • Conduct individual and group student music lessons.
  • Prepare and present material for the instruction of the practical aspects of the instrument.
  • Prepare and manage students undertaking public music examinations.
  • Organise and conduct rehearsals, sectionals and performances of the School's performing groups as assigned by the Director of Co-Curricular Music.
  • Liaise with parents and provide feedback about their child's progress.

We are looking for...

  • Demonstrated recent participation in masterclasses, public recitals and/or performances.
  • Experience teaching the AMEB syllabus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and students.
  • A covering letter and copy of your current Resume, including 2 professional references.
  • Your NSW-Working with Children number. (Must be Employment not Volunteer Status).
  • Your valid First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
  • Your valid COVID19 vaccination certificate or a COVID19 vaccine medical contraindication exemption.
  • Office of the Children's Guardian Child Safe eLearning Certificate.
