In this role, you will lead the preparation and submission of winning proposals and ensure the on-time delivery of compelling, compliant, and well-written content.
You will possess strong writing and organisation skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to generate creative ideas while working both independently and collaboratively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the Sales team to respond to EOI's, Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Quotations (RFQs) to manage the proposal development process
- Lead the development and submission of winning bid responses
- Work closely with other departments to complete the proposal strategy and ensure the message is articulated throughout the proposal
- Schedule management reviews and approvals during proposal development
- Manage Pipeline Reporting through CRM system ensuring all data is accurate
- Research and gather information to include corporate information, specifications, scope delineations, and other standard materials
- Reviewing quotes to ensure the suppliers/subcontractors inclusions and exclusions are
- Understanding of the business's value proposition and communicating that through proposals
- Improving organization, flow, readability, completeness, and clarity of proposals
- Maintain, update and improve library of reusable components, templates, and
- Debrief teams after proposal submission on successful or unsuccessful strategies
- Facilitate a retrospective assessment on proposals, and refine future proposal
- Update CRM system and other reporting documents as required
- Update proposal with clientrequested changes post submissions as required
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Building Surveying, Engineering, or another related Construction field
- Efficient in all Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of construction including the ability to read and understand plans, engineering drawings, and scope of works documents
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM system
- 2+ years' experience in the design or building and construction industry
- Highly efficient in using the Microsoft Office suite and InDesign
- Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
- Ability to work in a deadlineconscious, resultsdriven environment
