The role


We're seeking a talented individual to become our Bid & Data Coordinator in Melbourne Join our innovative team and immerse yourself in the world of bid management and data analysis.

In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to streamline pitch management processes and leverage data insights to drive strategic decision-making.

Working closely with our National Bid Manager and the broader Clients and Markets team, you'll play a crucial part in securing new business and enhancing client relationships through targeted pitches and advanced data analysis.

Key responsibilities

This role will see you contribute to the team in a number of ways including:

  • Maintain data trackers and runs performance reports, including live reports and recording post-tender feedback
  • Scans for new opportunities, managing the tender inbox, and managing deadline reminders
  • Supports pitchrelated content for BD and marketing platforms and the CRM system.
From a pitches and tender perspective;

  • Supports the pitch lead in managing selection and commercial questionnaires, CVs, certifications, and policies, coordinates meetings and shares notes
  • Utilises tools and resources to support the central pitch team generate highquality responses and manages internal/external deadlines
  • Provides reporting updates on pitches, stakeholder management, and supports the C&M practice groups on ad hoc bid support for smaller tender opportunities
  • Supports other ad hoc pitchrelated activities where required
Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • 1-2+ years in a similar role in business development, communications, or related experience (ideally in a professional services/corporate environment) or demonstrated transferrable experience in professional service environment/corporate)
  • Be a collaborator and connector with an ability to build relationships across all levels
  • Be curious, with the ability to ask good questions (and listen effectively)
  • A proactive, enthusiastic, positive approach to your work
  • Experience in the tenders and proposals preparation process
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and an intermediate/advance level in Microsoft Word
  • Exposure or knowledge of Client Relationship Management databases (Interaction desirable)
  • Be a strong communicator with exceptional oral and written communication skills, and attention to detail

The Clients and Markets team provides advice and services to the business across the full spectrum of marketing and BD - from brand awareness and design, media and communications, research and analysis, opportunity identification, pursuits and bid management to key client account management.

The team is known as a strong training ground for up and coming talent.
