ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dynamic Business Services Manager to oversee the operations, supply and deployment of our Business Services Team.

This role is crucial for ensuring excellent support to our Clerical and Clinical teams, while also providing outstanding customer services to our patients and referrers.


Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage Business Support Services teams including Customer Support specialists (booking centre) Accounts Receivable and the Education team, ensuring efficient and exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee referrer and patient support, including booking centre team across all regions; and referrer hotline, report delivery and access.
  • Manage accounts receivable and operational RIS administration.
  • Lead and guide the education team, assisting with training programs.
  • Conduct regular site visits to identify and resolve issues with bookings, billings, and customer service.
  • Develop and update workflows to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Coordinate Lake Imaging Billing Committee and maintain timely AR processes.
  • Provide monthly reports on staff and site issues with recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such a Lake management, clerical staff and modality leads

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure recruitment processes are followed for hiring new Business Support Services staff.
  • Manage staffing levels, ensuring compliance with rostering requirements.
  • Review and update team manuals, position descriptions, and KPIs.
  • Conduct regular staff surveys and provide formal orientation and training.
  • Implement strategies aligned with business objectives and report to GM.

ABOUT YOU

  • Cert IV in Business Administration or Business Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Experience in similar environment
  • Proven knowledge of billing policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with RIS/PACS systems
  • Ability to manage and support a diverse team effectively
