Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at this well known gem of a venue. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will play a hands on key role in supporting the management team in all aspects of restaurant operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences during breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service during breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts.
  • Lead by example by providing warm and attentive service to guests and fostering a positive work environment for staff.
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising front-of-house staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage food and beverage costs to maximize profitability.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for guests and staff.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement promotional activities and special events to drive sales and increase guest engagement.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a casual but faced paced dining room.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong food and beverage knowledge.
  • Proven track record of delivering high levels of guest satisfaction and driving sales.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings + weekends.
