HR Partners by Randstad has an opportunity for an APS6 Senior People and Culture Advisor to join our client government site in Brisbane. This role is Monday-Friday, until 30 June 2024 (there may be a potential of extension). A security baseline clearance is mandatory for this role.

About the role:

This key position will lead the analysis, design, and development of a range of learning programs that provide opportunities for employees to build the skills, capabilities, and behaviours to meet upcoming sector reforms and operational requirements.â¯

The successful candidate will be part of the Culture, Capability and Performance section of People and Culture. They will work with Commission business areas and apply learning (instructional) design principles to analyse learning needs, design learning programs, and develop solutions that are contextualised to the unique environment of aged care regulation. They will also be able to detail how you use eLearning design principles to develop fit for purpose learning solutions.â¯â¯

The successful candidate will be a team player who is adept in building and fostering relationships with a variety of stakeholders. They will be accustomed to working in agile and fast paced environments where priorities quickly evolve.â¯

The Senior People and Culture Advisor- Learning & Development will be responsible for a range of learning functions including:â¯â¯

  • Providing a high level of learning (instructional) design capability in the analysis, design, and development of learning solutions, including eLearning courses; face-to- face learning products such as facilitator guides and learner guides/workbooks; self-paced learning guides; and on-the-job learning tools.â¯â¯
  • Create digital learning assets including but not limited to the creation and editing of photos, images, infographics, video, audio, animations, and eLearning assets of varying interactivity levels, incorporating Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) where required.â¯
  • Collaborate with and build productive partnerships with internal stakeholders to ensure learning solutions remain responsive and relevant to the Commission reforms and operational plans.â¯
  • Coaching junior learning team members on the instructional design process and the development of training programs, under direction from Assistant Directors.â¯â¯
  • Provide expert advice, assistance and support to the Assistant Directors and Director, Culture Capability and Performance.
  • Project management learning projects/activities, ensuring they are of good quality and delivered within the required timeframes.â¯â¯â¯

    About the individual:

    • Demonstrated skill and experience in the analysis, design and delivery of outcomes based and technical learning programs within a regulatory environment.â¯
    • Demonstrated experience in formal (learning) instructional design techniques and processes that are based on adult learning principles and practice.â¯
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to use these to develop productive working relationships with internal stakeholders.â¯
    • Experience utilising rapid eLearning / authoring tools including (but not limited to) Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, Vyond and Canva, to develop engaging, creative, and fully customisable eLearning assets.â¯
    • Intermediate skills in common Microsoft Office365 suite programs (including MS Teams and Task Planner).
    • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122) - highly desirable.
    • Baseline clearance required, this is a mandatory requirement for federal government roles - applicants without this will not be considered.
