Randstad is currently recruiting for multiple Complaints Officers to work within a busy Federal Government Agency. This will require a high level of stakeholder management and the ability to resolve issues in a timely, empathetic and efficient manner.

  • $55-$60 per hour + Superannuation
  • Full Time Hours, Monday - Friday
  • Long-term contract located in CBD

    About the role

    We are currently seeking multiple Complaints Officers. In this role, you will be required to:

    • Receiving and managing complaints from members of the public, these can include over the phone, in person or in writing
    • Case management of complaints, monitoring the complaint throughout the process
    • Assessing and categorising complaints, investigating information as required, and determining the next steps in the process
    • Preparing draft recommendations


      Skills and Experience

      • Strong communication skills and resilience, including communicating effectively with stakeholders, including people from a wide range of cultural and social backgrounds in challenging circumstances.
      • Experience working within the healthcare sector, or with vulnerable clientele is essential
      • The capability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with team members, staff, and other stakeholders
      • The skills to manage responsibilities and workload in a timely and efficient manner
      • Exceptional report writing skills
      • Good judgement for assessing risk and associated decision-making

        Successful applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment integrity checks including a National Police Criminal Check and two viable reference checks.
