    A leader in freight forwarding logistics and supply chain management located in Port Botany.

    About the Role

    Join a dynamic, tech driven, team of 3 in an airfreight operations role. Working as an Airfreight Operator (All-Rounder), this versatile role will have you handling all aspects of the export process. You will have the opportunity to learn sea freight as well as imports. Handling both console and back to back exports using CW1 technology, this role will suit a progressive and motivated operator.

    Your duties will include:

    • End to end control of the export airfreight process
    • Interaction with Forwarders, Airlines and Agents daily
    • Work closely with the warehouse for check-ins / export build ups & breakdowns
    • Liaising & negotiating Carrier rates
    • Utilizing EDI Cargowise accurately and efficiently
    • Assist with the Import operations as required
    • Rate collation & quoting Export shipments

      The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

      • 1-2 years experience in an Airfreight operations role
      • Previous experience with CargoWise - CW1 software
      • Experience to an onsite Airfreight Bond preferred
      • Exposure to working in a fast paced, versatile team
      • Experience in wholesale freight forwarding an advantage
