About the Role:

As the sole HR professional, this role will be instrumental in handling various HR duties and ensuring smooth operations within the organisation. Situated in the Barossa Valley, this temporary assignment offers flexible working hours, making it perfect for individuals with afternoon commitments. There's also potential for the role to transition into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Human Resources Administration:
    • Manage employee records, including on boarding, off boarding, and personnel files
    • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and procedures
    • Coordinate HR-related documentation such as contracts, agreements, and performance reviews
    • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed
    • Understanding of Employment Law: Interpretation of Awards
    • Talent Acquisition:
      • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking
      • Screen resumes and applications to identify potential candidates
      • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate suitability and qualifications
      • Coordinate interview schedules and logistics with hiring managers
      • Maintain candidate database and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality
      • Partnering with line managers on recruitment needs
      • Compliance and Clearance Management:
        • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
        • Facilitate the clearance process, including National Police Checks and vaccination requirements
        • Liaise with health care providers and manage documentation related to flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination status

          Qualifications and Clearances:

          • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
          • Proven experience in HR administration, talent acquisition, or related roles
          • Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations
          • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
          • Detail-oriented with strong organisational and multitasking abilitiesClearance:
            • National Police Check (NPC)
            • Flu Vaccination
