The Company:
My client is a prominent manufacturer in the mechanical rotating equipment sector, specializing in blowers, screw compressors, and comprehensive systems. Their Australian branch extends full sales and service support across Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding regions. They seek a seasoned sales  specialist with a background in Sales and Management to drive further business expansion. The role can be placed in either Sydney or Melbourne. 

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strategic acumen, a track record of exceeding KPIs, fostering sales growth, and nurturing the sales team's professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearheading the sales team with a hands-on approach, driving market growth and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Drawing upon extensive sales and management expertise to motivate a team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) nationwide, instilling passion and drive for success.
  • Implementing robust national sales strategies to optimize sales performance, while efficiently managing a dedicated portfolio of clients.
  • Leading by example in the execution of sales initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and achieving remarkable results.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 5+ years sales management and leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in sales processes, particularly value/solution selling.
  • Strong people management skills, with an ability to mentor, coach, and engage the team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in budget management, forecasting, and analytical abilities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Industrial machinery products/services and market dynamics (Water, Mining, Food & Beverage Manufacturing).
  • Willingness to travel interstate and overseas to meet sales objectives.
  • Full permanent working rights in Australia (Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency) at the time of application.
