About the Opportunity
We have an opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join our legal & governance team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Legal & Governance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal advisory services and support across CleanCo's diverse business operations. This role encompasses managing legal affairs related to renewable energy, procurement, planning and development, major projects, and corporate and commercial matters.
About you
- Extensive understanding of corporate and commercial law in at least two relevant areas
- Proven track record in top-tier law firms or large in-house settings
- Strong skills in contract negotiation and drafting, with experience in energy resources
- Knowledge of corporate governance in government-owned corporations
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and research skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to high ethical standards
- Capacity to contribute broadly across various tasks
