We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Intellectual Property and Technology Practice in Brisbane.

This role provides the successful candidate with the opportunity to work on large, complex matters for a variety of clients, including government agencies, regulators, major corporates, telcos, media networks and personalities, private equity firms, banks (international and local), print and digital publishers, and IT software and equipment suppliers and their users.

The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years post-qualification experience in a top-tier firm environment, a strong academic record of achievement, exceptional technical skills, particularly in contract drafting, and the ability to draft clear, commercially orientated advice.

They will also possess highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for building client relationships, a naturally collegiate mindset and positive attitude, and the capacity to collaborate effectively as part of a driven and dynamic team.

The Senior Legal Counsel will work closely with Partners Simon Newcomb and Cameron Gascoyne to advise clients on a range of related issues, including intellectual property, privacy and artificial intelligence.

With an estimated salary of $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive package and the opportunity to work on transformative projects that shape Australia's future business, industry, and consumer landscape.
