Your role and responsibilities
Join us as a Sales Specialist Water Analytics for the Process Automation Business area where you will be developing, continuously assessing, maintaining an effective sales strategy, including responsibility for sales of products/systems/services within a designated markets (regional/local) in accordance with strategy to improve ABB market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned portfolio. This position reports to the Process Analytical Sales Manager and can be based in Moorebank, Notting Hill or Darra, Australia. Responsibilities include: -Creating, planning, and implementing regional/local sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives for the Business Area Product Portfolio/Group -Assisting to define key sales targets and establishing appropriate metrics and measurement tools to monitor performance -Preparing sales plans using company tools -Performing regular status reviews and proposing recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls -Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations -Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers -Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration -Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting collection and project management activities when needed
Qualifications for the role
- Engineering background (Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Automation or Chemical)
- Proven track record and experience in Technical Sales & Solutions
- Ideally Product Portfolio Management for complex sales and solutions, optimising direct sales channels to end users, Portfolio expansion Through, OEM’s & partner/distributor relationship building
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and SAP
- Driven and passionate in achieving goals
- Good hold on communication both verbal and written
