Job Summary:

Abbott is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Medical Sales Professional to join our Diabetes Team as a Territory Representative. This is an exciting opportunity to promote life-changing technology to healthcare professionals and drive sales growth in the Brisbane West/Cairns region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed sales targets and grow existing accounts.
  • Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including specialist endocrinologists, diabetes educators, and general practitioners.
  • Conduct sales calls, product demonstrations, and training sessions to promote Abbott's glucose monitoring technology.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop account strategies to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in a science discipline, such as biology, chemistry, or physics.
  • Relevant industry experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals, with a strong customer-facing background.
  • Proven track record of delivering sales targets and meeting customer needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
