Our Industrial and Energy Technology (IET) operates across 120 countries and serves the entire energy value-chain and industrial sector. We hold an extensive portfolio of rotating equipment, process flow, transmission technology and lifecycle services. Our Engineering Transformation team work to improve the quality of our Engineering processes.

You will be part of our team of s based in Australia, responsible for planning and executing maintenance events on industrial gas turbines, steam turbines, gas compressors and associated equipment.
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating with customers, Baker Hughes Contract Managers and engineering specialists to define work scopes and budgets.
Working with the Resource Management Team and external service providers to define work teams and work schedules.
Working with Mobilising Coordinators, customers and the site team to ensure timely mobilisation of resources to sites across Australia and occasionally, elsewhere within the Asia-Pacific region.
Managing multinational site teams, ensuring that they execute their work safety and with quality.
Ensuring that your site teams work efficiently and effectively with customer and with our Baker Hughes Product Engineers to resolve technical issues during project execution.
Communicating clearly and effectively with customer teams and internal Baker Hughes stakeholders regarding work performance against budget and schedule.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have a relevant engineering degree or formal trade qualifications.
Have at least 5 years’ experience working at industrial sites involved in installing, maintaining and/or operating industrial gas turbines and/or compressors.
Have significant project management experience; leading field teams in the construction and/or heavy industry, with first-hand experience of living and operating at remote sites.
Have a high level of competency with common PC software tools.
Demonstrate strong leadership abilities in establishing positive and healthy work team cultures with focus on safety, quality, respect and ethical behaviour.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
