As a Design Drafter/SolidWorks Specialist, you will play a crucial role in turning conceptual designs into detailed, manufacturable drawings. Your expertise in SolidWorks and attention to detail will ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and drawings using SolidWorks.
- Develop and maintain technical drawings, schematics, and layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and constraints.
- Ensure that all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Revise and update existing drawings to reflect design changes.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve product designs.
- Assist in the development of prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs.
- Manage documentation and ensure all files are organized and up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Drafter, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, including advanced modeling and simulation features.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
