What this job involves

The primary purpose of the role is to manage various critical operational readiness activities, including leading operational readiness projects, commissioning plans and providing expert operational readiness advice and guidelines to stakeholders to ensure requirements are known, managed and coordinated to support the operational and project team to deliver projects safely and to scope ensuring all external contractors are informed and activated on Day 1 for successful customer experience.

Enables transparency of delivery within each workstream, through a fit for purpose delivery and governance framework, with regular reporting of timeframes, risks and issues. Working closely with the workstreams, the Site Readiness lead will chair/support specific focus project meetings and produce an integrated plan, identifying key dependencies across the project.

The role requires coordinating thought and leadership skills to encourage maximum contributions of all program participants and focus these to maximise outcomes for all stakeholders.

You will have a detailed understanding of the roles of and interdependencies between facilities management, leasing, capital works, occupancy planning projects and ancillary support functions and demonstrated results through experience delivering business process improvements for operational efficiency.

Previous experience in change management planning and site mobilisation and readiness implementation is desirable as is the ability to create, maintain and manage a programme framework to ensure successful delivery of Program(s).

You will be able to confidently manage Program delivery from inception to closure and mentor others and have strong skills in influencing and motivating internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver successful initiatives.

An ability to assist in the preparation of proposals and the delivery of presentations that may be required as part of securing new work is also preferred.
