Overview
The person looking to join this dedicated customer service team will be excited by the opportunity to problem solve to meet regional customer needs and adapt workflows and systems to ensure alignment with changing Commonwealth reporting and operational compliance needs.
As an integral team member of the Rural Support Service Business Support Unit the Support Officer is accountable to the Manager, Ageing and Disability Reform for the provision of a range of finance and data integrity functions, system workflow redesigns and practical application of learning principles to support the Regional Local Health Networks to deliver an efficient and effective community Commonwealth Aged Care and Disability program to vulnerable consumers across regional South Australia.
The role provides timely and accurate information, analysis and reports and contributes to the continuous improvement of accounting systems, data integrity and system processes. The position will also contribute to on-going change activities and rLHN training as a result of Commonwealth reform. It will contribute to special projects in the specific assigned areas of responsibility as required.
