Gamuda Engineering, a subsidiary of Gamuda Berhad (Malaysia), is a reputable Engineering and Construction contractor that specialises in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of Transport and Infrastructure projects. Gamuda Engineering Australia has established offices in Sydney and Melbourne to pursue and deliver a variety of construction projects and is currently delivering the $2.16B Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package and has also recently commenced work on the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1.02B M1 Raymond Terrace Upgrade as part of a joint venture.

About the role

Based between our head office and tender offices you will support the Bid Director in leading the submission team in the preparation, management and review of all bids and associated documentation.

Specific activities will include:

  • Manage the preparation, review and submission of all bids and documentation through interactive engagement with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Liaise with senior management to understand key client drivers and integrate key themes into bid strategies to ensure clear, concise, and compelling submissions. 
  • Manage and coordinate all related material for client interactive tender processes and other client presentations. 
  • Manage the writing and graphic design resources to deliver high quality, professional documentation that supports the growth of Gamuda Australia within the industry 
  • Build and maintain a current content database, creating and updating relevant case studies as projects are completed. 

Your skills and experience

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience within Bid Submissions, preferably in a Tier 1 construction or engineering environment
  • A track record of developing effective working relationships with management and key stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple projects at any one time
