The role
Lead a team of professionals to provide analytical capability that supports our C&A Leadership team to better understand their business processes and make changes that they know will deliver the right business outcomes.
You’ll find yourself engaging with our C&A Leadership team and Change Delivery Leadership to support them to understand the business processes and through analytical support, provide options for changes to deliver improved performance.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring controls are in place to deliver against the Process Management Framework as we develop and maintain our process management repository, creating a single source of truth.
As part of the leadership team, you’ll ensure our Process Analysts are supported with their delivery of analytical support and process mapping and remove blockers to ensure success. As a leader, you will provide consistent reporting for the senior executives to ensure transparency and responsibility of your team's output.

- Deliver on our C&A People Promises and be responsible for managing team members in accordance with company policies and employment laws, and ensure relevant HR procedures are applied (including Safety, Wellness and Health, Workplace Behaviour and Performance Improvement frameworks)
Position Accountabilities
- Ensure that the team partners with business stakeholders to understand business strategy while generating innovative ideas for achieving desired business outcomes.
- Ensure the team builds and maintains subject matter expertise in the Process Analysis practice, including coaching, mentoring, and ownership of the C&A Process Management Framework, processes, tools, and techniques.
- Monitoring and reporting of process analyst teams outputs and delivery
- Motivate and evaluate a team in alignment with an internal capability & leadership framework
- Ensure effective working relationships for the team across the technology delivery teams
- Ensure effective participation in the daily stand ups, sprint planning meetings, retrospectives, and release planning meetings.
- Lead the A&G process management community to ensure organisational alignment and consistency in Process Management
- Maintain effective stakeholder relationships that deliver capability uplift across C&A in understanding and advocating process management techniques and approaches to deliver improved business outcomes
What experience you’ll bring
Essential
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing people
- Experience leading process analyst teams
- Team player with a ‘people first’ attitude
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and modelling (BPMN) including As-Is/To-Be process mapping and data models.
- Demonstrated process improvement experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage stakeholders across organisational functions
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong emotional intelligence skills
Desirable
- Experience with BIC or similar BPM tool/s
- Experience with Atlassian tools – Jira & Confluence
- Experience in the General Insurance industry or Financial Services, or other heavily-regulated industries
- Familiar with APQC and/or other process architecture frameworks
- Lean Six Sigma (or other process improvement) qualifications and experience
- A bachelor degree in a relevant discipline or commensurate industry experience.
