We are seeking  Project Accountant/Cost Controllers  to join major Lithium projects across Western Australia. 

There are  DIDO 5:2 (Monday to Friday), FIFO 2:1 rosters and Perth based options  available with attractive Salary Packages, site uplifts & PCB on offer.

These prestigious multi-disciplinary projects offer long-term opportunities (2+ years) as you play an essential role contributing to the success of the projects. From the initial project startup to on-site construction and closeout, you will be involved in every aspect of the project lifecycle.

As the Project Accountant/Cost Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely reporting of the project including cost control metrics, forecasting, variance analysis, as well as managing all aspects of project accounting.

Responsibilities: Manage project accounting activities, including cost control, progress claim (assistance) and generating project budget and forecasts. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Analyze project financial data and provide recommendations for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Cost control and analysis of earned value/shortfall Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate project forecasting and reporting. Coordinate with corporate accounting to ensure accurate and timely project financial reporting. Review and approve project-related invoices, expenses, and payments. Prepare monthly management reports and present to senior management. What you will bring: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or CMA certification preferred. 5+ years of experience in project accounting or related field Preferable on-site experience in a large construction project or Mining contractor. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Experience with project accounting software and ERP systems Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
