About the Role

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an experienced Project Cost Control Specialist, providing cost management support for Infrastructure Delivery (ID) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planning, estimating, budgeting, funding, and controlling costs across the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure successful project delivery within budget by tracking progress, accuracy of cost forecasts, and conducting variance analysis.
  • Proactively identify corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.

About You

  • At least 7 years of experience in infrastructure or construction projects within a cost discipline.
  • Strong understanding of project accounting policies, project appraisal, planning, and budgeting requirements.
  • Proven experience in tendering, tender evaluation, and claims evaluation.
  • Demonstrated experience in project progress evaluations, project status reporting, and/or work verification.
  • Solid technical skills in project cost planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting.
  • Experience in developing briefing papers and information packs related to project costs.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present cost engineering information to management and clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing competing demands on time and resources.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
