About the role

We are currently seeking a Head of Health & Safety  to join us on the Eastern Freeway- Burke to Tram Alliance.

Key Responsibilities

​​Support the safe and successful delivery of the Project including leading the safety team and influencing the wider project teams through all aspects of health and safety. Implement the Health & Safety Management Plan as well as key priority projects ​​Ensure that direct or indirect HSE reports are aware of key performance expectations and their HSE accountabilities. ​​Develop the HSE leadership Action Schedule and ensure all requirements within the schedule/plan are established, implemented, communicated and that responsibilities for implementing the plan are understood by senior management.

About you

Recent experience in a Head of Safety , GM or Senior Safety Leadership role having worked across major infrastructure projects in Australia for Tier 1 organisations Experience working with Managing Contractor type contracts is preferred. You will have the results driven, collaborative leadership approach with an ability to demonstrate a high level of technical and negotiation skills. You will also possess strong communication skills with an ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
