Western Health is seeking Head of Unit for Geriatric Medicine. The role of the Head of Unit Geriatric Medicine is to provide strategic clinical leadership to the Division and support the Divisional Director and Clinical Services Director to deliver safe and sustainable clinical services for the Aged, Cancer and Continuing Care Division through the implementation of contemporary multidisciplinary models of care. In addition to this, the Head of Unit will have a substantive clinical role that may include a caseload across acute and subacute aged care services.
The role is for a permanent sessional (0.8EFT) member to commence from May 2023. The Head of Unit component will be 0.5EFT, with 0.3EFT clinical. The total EFT and start timing is negotiable.
