MJD Recruitment are thrilled to be working exclusively with this prestigious national firm who are seeking a switched-on, Legal Secretary who excels in a fast-paced environment. Not only will you be a part of this leading firm, but you will also gain invaluable exposure to several areas of law such as Commercial, Government, Insurance, and Corporate & many more This is it an amazing opportunity for someone who has previous experience within legal support who enjoys challenging themselves and as the firm endorses growth and progression to ensure you are reaching your full potential.
 
There are no average days here, your weeks will be diverse and fast-paced

You will be supporting a partner and team of fee earners across various areas of law, expanding your network, and developing your knowledge beyond a normal support role. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and editing of documents
  • Drafting correspondence and responses
  • Opening, maintaining, and closing files
  • End-of-month billing and reporting
  • Managing fee earner's diaries and calendars
  • Scheduling meetings and arranging travel appointments
  • Ad hoc tasks as required

  
What you’ll need to succeed;

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid billing experience
  • Be able to adhere to duties as mentioned above.
  • You will have 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, have floated or worked in another area of law.
  • Building lasting relationships with colleagues and clients comes naturally for you and have that drive to become successful in your career. 

The role is open to those who are studying but it will require you to work full time. This position is ideal for anyone looking for a new challenge.
