Our client is a long-standing national commercial practice, seeking an experienced Float Assistant to become an integral member of the administrative team in Sydney.
As a Float, you will assist all departments in the firm as and when there is a busy workload or a team member is away for a period of time. As such, you will gain a range of exposure to each area of law and enjoy collaborating with colleagues across the firm.
Your day to day tasks will vary, but could include:
- Assisting various practice groups with the preparation of legal documents and general correspondence
- Supporting billing and finance processes
Overall, this role requires a combination of legal knowledge, administrative skills, and the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to support the needs of the practice groups you work with.

**The Requirements**:
Listed below are the minimum expectations for technical skills, experience and qualifications which individuals need to meet in order to perform this role:
- 3 years experience in a commercial firm in a similar position
- The desire to learn and the ability to pick up new skills quickly and with ease;
- Confidence utilising Microsoft Office Suite;
- Exposure to legal software for matter and financial management;
- Excellent communication, sound judgement and professionalism, and a can-do attitude;
- Demonstrated capacity to thrive in fast-paced settings while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
