This role is for the NSW GOvernment Department of Estate Planning

The Client Service Officer (CSO) is part of the Trustee Services Division which is collectively responsible for delivering high quality services to customers that are reliable, timely and are consistent NSW Trustee & Guardian (NSWTG) administers Trusts & Estates where the organisation has been appointed the Trustee of trust funds or as Executor/Trustee of a Will, when someone else is appointed but asks NSWTG to take over their role, or where someone dies without a valid Will (intestate).

The CSO is part of a Client Service Team collectively responsible for delivering high-quality, consistent, and timely Trust and long-term Estate administration services. A CSO will typically processing Trust tasks and customer needs. A vital challenge of the role is managing work outputs and competing demands/priorities to generate favourable customer outcomes.

NSWTG has identified six areas that matter most to our customers. They are insightfulness, empathy, personalised, convenience and time, value, and overall satisfaction.
The ideal applicant will therefore possess excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills and experience in dealing with a diverse range of clients, professionals, staff, and community members.

While no former Trust or Estate administration experience is necessary, it is highly desirable if the candidate has worked in legal or financial sectors. Investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary.
