About the Centre:
Welcome to Aussie Kindies Early Learning Woy Woy. We are 64 place centre, offering three rooms that all instil a love of lifelong learning in every child. We believe in a strengths and rights-based approach to the education and care of children. We believe play underpins our philosophy and provides opportunities for each child to explore, discover, create and imagine. We see our environment as the ‘third teacher’, our environment is aesthetically pleasing and reflects the identity and culture of the children and families. We have a very family orientated community and family based team here at Aussie Kindies with our team having been here for a long time ensuring a sense of belonging and respect for anyone who joins us
About the Role
- Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Kindy room.
- Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school and positive experiences within our community.
- Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
- Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.
About You
- An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
- Relevant teachers’ registration (if applicable)
- A current Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain
- Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
- A strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
