About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Affinity Education.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for implementing the approved learning framework to support the education and care needs of children.

You will work closely with Educational Leaders across our central coast centres, providing coaching and mentoring to support best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow and instill a lifelong love of learning in children through a curriculum combining play-based and intentional teaching.
  • Gain support and training in guiding children's behaviours.
  • Create child-led programs which respect the individuality of every child.
  • Support the educational team and centre management to meet and exceed the National Quality Standards.

About You

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Education and Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in ECEC.
  • Experience motivating, mentoring and supporting Educators and Educational Leaders.
  • Strong knowledge in Early Childhood Practice and Pedagogy.
  • Critical reflection skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of theories relating to Early Childhood.
