The Role of Executive Chef

  • Reporting to General Manager, you will be responsible for developing and leading the Kitchen Team who service the Restaurant, Bar and Café and Conference Centre.
  • Produce creative and innovative menu designs.
  • Working closely with our members and the front of house operations to ensure culinary excellence at all times.
  • Ensure food standards, preparation, presentation and cooking techniques are established and monitored to meet brand standards.
  • Implement cost control measures, showcase diverse culinary techniques, and foster a learning-oriented work environment to enhance quality.
  • Maintain food costs at budgeted levels by careful preparation, service and storage of food product.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve operations to achieve culinary excellence, provide excellent guest experiences, and meet business goals and strategies.

Setting you up for Success

  • Minimum 5 years Executive Chef experience in fine dining and events.
  • Experience leading a team with a strong focus on engagement and development.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
  • Menu Engineering, Culinary Knowledge and Food Safety Compliance experience.
  • Five-Star experience is advantageous, but not a necessity.
