How you’ll make an impact

The Marketing function in AMP Australia is critical in understanding our customers, their needs, and aspirations. This function is responsible for developing compelling solutions, offers and experiences for our customers. This team is accountable for all marketing components in the go-to-market process, ensuring that it meets the needs of the organisation, our customers and our advisers.

The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the marketing strategy and activity for Mortgage Brokers, driving awareness, consideration and acquisition activities. This will be achieved by designing, executing, and optimising multi-channel digital and direct marketing campaigns to drive awareness and consideration across broker GTM channels. The role will span but is not limited to traditional and digital marketing and events. 

You’ll make an impact by:

  • As the main marketing lead for the transformation project of our digitised end-to-end home loan application, you will be responsible for ensuring all marketing requirements for the project are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Support the Business Finance Loan Product Acquisition Strategy by identifying and building core target acquisition volumes across Mortgage Brokers and adviser customers. Collaborate closely with distribution teams to align on targets and activities.
  • Manage the broker hub website, ensuring its design, maintenance, and upliftment. This includes enhancing its functionality, user-friendliness, and aesthetic appeal to boost our online presence and broker engagement.
  • Lead the end-to-end development and execution of marketing campaigns and activities across paid, owned, and earned channels for both projects. This includes stakeholder alignment, campaign briefing, project planning, media planning and buying, creative & production, and content development, 
  • Utilize your digital and direct marketing expertise to develop the GTM strategy, ensuring seamless implementation in collaboration with the broader Marketing function and Bank stakeholder group.
  • Ensure all marketing activity is within agreed budgets, time frames, and meets legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement communication plans aligned to these two main projects to create awareness and consideration for brokers.
  • Apply an analytical approach to identifying, quantifying, and prioritising opportunities that deliver to agreed objectives.
  • Build effective partnerships with key Bank stakeholders to align our marketing strategy with their growth strategy and gain a strong understanding of our key audience cohorts.
  • Lead the timely and accurate tracking, analysis, reporting, and optimisation of marketing performance for your streams of work. This includes conducting Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs), ensuring learnings and insights are incorporated into future campaigns and activities, and providing regular performance updates to the business to demonstrate the achievement of business targets.

What you will bring to the team

  • Experience in Marketing, communications or related disciplines
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry. Ideally knowledge of the B2B sector or mortgage broking industry. 
  • Proven marketing project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines whilst juggling multiple tasks. 
  • A strong technical understanding of direct and digital marketing strategy, CX, channels and platforms, including email, social media, search and display advertising.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and ability to create key audience cohort communications 
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Your ability to develop, maintain and grow relationships will be key to your success.
  • A passion for staying up to date on the latest marketing trends and emerging technologies.
  • Be a strategic thinker, proactive, accountable, and details-oriented, take initiative in a fast-paced business environment
  • Proven experience defining, implementing, and optimising marketing strategies across channels, preferably with experience in the Banking sector.
