Reporting into the Head of Communications, Content & Research, you will be responsible for managing the greenstone brands' website blog content, copywriting and social media platforms. You will oversee the day-day management of out social media platforms, across all brands, and deliver website blog content.

Utilising both internal and external content creators you will develop the overarching content strategy across the portfolio of brands across Canada and collaborate with stakeholders across the business including content agencies and compliance to deliver engaging, timely and relevant content.  You will closely with the Social media manager and brand team to develop social calendar and manage budgets/allocate resources effectively to ensure that campaigns are delivered in budget.

You will have a real passion for content and a true understanding of the importance of meeting the needs of a diverse range of audiences. You will have a hunger for continuous learning, embracing and incorporating new techniques and skills as you acquire them. Your previous experience in producing strategy-aligned content will be key to success in this role. You have sound knowledge of content planning, creation and distribution through online and offline channels with specific experience curating SEO optimised content for our websites using content management systems such as Kontent.ai. 

What are we looking for?

  • Tertiary level qualifications (e.g. bachelor degree or higher) in a relevant digital marketing or communications discipline
  • Demonstrable experience with Facebook's Creator Studio and Business Manager programs
  • Knowledge of SEO tools such as Ahrefs and SEM manager
  • Ability to analyse and present performance and effectiveness of content and brief copywriters/external agencies
  • Knowledge of social listening and scheduling tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite as well as Google Analytics
  • Flexibility to fulfil varying requirements of a small content team
  • Understanding of Social media platforms, content management systems and reporting experience
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders in a compliance heavy industry

Desirable

  • Copywriting and sub editing experience
  • Knowledge of financial services products and services
  • Experience in the management of a multi-brand and multi-products
  • Fluency in French (not essential)
  • Knowledge of content management systems such as Kontent.ai
