Position Title: Registered Nurse Div. 1 Grade 2
Department: Medical Day Unit
Employment Type: Permanent Part Time - 24 hours per fortnight available.

Grampians Health Ballarat is seeking a dynamic, energetic Registered Nurse(s) Div. 1 Grade 2 to work in the Medical Day Unit.

If you have exceptional clinical skills and a commitment to quality outcomes for all clients and patients, this is the position for you.

Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery to our clients and their families within the Medical Day Unit.

Skills and Experience.

  • Have good IV cannulation skills (+/- completed their competency in CVAD access)
  • Have a person-centered approach and commitment to best practice care,
  • Have great time management skills and excellent documentation,
  • Be up to date with mandatory competencies. 
  • Work well in a small team.

Experience in the management of MDU infusions/ treatments including monoclonal antibody infusions or similar and flexibility in rostering across 5-day week will be highly regarded.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Registered Nurse Grade 2 (YP2 - YP9) which ranges from $34.17 - $48.26 per hour.
