The Talent Mill has an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Head of HR to join this renowned Australian Luxury brand based in Melbourne.
The Role |
This is a key appointment partnering with the ELT on a broad range of people and culture projects - this is a hands-on, fast paced, varied generalist HR & Recruitment role requiring you to focus on both operational and value adding HR initiatives/projects simultaneously.
We are looking for an experienced retail HR professional who has outstanding organisational skills, loves a fast-paced environment, and has strong knowledgeable across the employee life cycle. This is your chance to partner with a senior brand team and make a difference for this successful brand.
Build a People & Culture strategy and roadmap that aligns business drivers with creating an amazing employee experience for their people.
Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top talent
Lead performance management processes, providing guidance and support to managers and employees to facilitate ongoing feedback and development opportunities.
Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring that learning and development opportunities are accessible and inclusive for all employees.
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR policies and procedures that support a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, with a focus on promoting a positive and supportive work environment conducive to learning and growth.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR and learning and development, implementing innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience and drive organisational success.
Providing broad HR generalist advice & guidance
Developing a variety of HR initiatives to drive engagement, shape culture and develop people
Implement Talent management & Succession planning initiatives
Oversee retail recruitment through effective partnering with the senior retail team
Oversee Employee Safety and Well-being management
The Skillset
Strong, in-depth HR experience and knowledge across the entire employee life cycle gained within a high end retailer
A passion for innovative and resourceful retail recruitment
Evident passion for people and progressive/innovative HR practices
An ability to coach and drive leadership capability through different levels of management
Strong ability to influence & handle multiple stakeholders
Excellent interpersonal skills & a confident communicator
